Who We Are

From a serendipitous beginning, we now are a group of 100+ members from surrounding towns, who gather at least twice a month with the following missions in mind:

  • To teach and learn quilting techniques
  • To ensure the growth of quilting to future generations
  • To make hundreds of hand and machine made quilts which are donated to NH organizations that serve children and adults. See David's House and Child Advocacy Center.

What's really special about our group is having fun and fellowship while we accomplish such good things together. We take our fellowship seriously, via carefully planned social activities such as our Annual Luncheon in September, a "Soup-In" with the Country Village Quilt Guild of Moultonborough (CVQG) in November, a Christmas party in December where we draw the name of the lucky winner of our yearly Raffle Quilt, a members only "Soup-In" lunch in February and Tea in the Spring hosted by Country Village Quilt Guild (CVQG), and a delicious pot-luck picnic in June.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church, 115 South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH, with some exceptions as described in the previous paragraph. See map for directions.

If meeting twice a month isn't enough for you, we also gather at an evening session on the 1st, 3rd and 5th (if there is one) Tuesday of each month, from 6 to 9 pm, in addition to yet another daytime session from 10am to 2 pm every Monday.  The Monday sessions are divided between meeting at the Wolfeboro Community Center, and the Wolfeboro Public Library. Check calendar for information regarding location and any requirements.
