Our Soup In was a huge success!

First, Christa Nee showed us how to "Protect those Joints", and what tools to buy to help you sew longer and sew smarter. Following a little bit of neck cracking, and stretching our backs, etc., DoreenG and her crew of gift makers presented a vase of homemade button flowers in adorable, sweet salt and pepper shakers to our CVQG guests. Luckily for some of our helpful members, they too went home with the remainder of the button flower bouquets.

Next was soup and DESSERT, followed by the drawing of the winners of our raffle baskets, cleverly designed by KatherineP.

It was nice to have our fellow quilters from CVQG to join in our program and festivities. Many many thanks to volunteers who provided such a wonderful selection of soups, breads, butter and assorted delicious desserts. It was appreciated that our helpers were able to take soup orders and serve our guests and members. Thank you to everyone that pitched in and made it a wonderful afternoon. On another note, our raffle baskets raised  $130.00. Thank you so much KatherineP
